about me
Last updated: May 2026
I am a software engineer, designer, and amateur rocketeer based in the Pacific Northwest. I build clean web applications, design embedded systems for model rockets, and document my work through photography and writing.
I believe in plain text, lightweight design, and building things that last. When I'm not writing code, you can usually find me at a local launch site testing high-power model rockets or out in the mountains taking photos.

Here is what I'm currently focused on:
- Developing the flight computer firmware for Phoenix-1 (a dual-deploy rocket).
- Refining my astrophotography rig for summer stargazing.
- Writing articles about low-power electronic hardware and software simplicity.
